This course uses a blend of presentations, quizzes, and exercises to enable the delegates to perform CORTEX administration, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
The delegates will learn how to configure and administer CORTEX Gateway and CORTEX Interaction Portal and undertake preventative maintenance checks to ensure the system’s continued correct operation. They will also learn about the system’s technical architecture, enabling them to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Course Objectives
This course provides the necessary skills and information to be a System Administrator of CORTEX. At the end of this course, delegates should be able to:
- Administer CORTEX Gateway.
- Administer CORTEX Interaction Portal.
- Describe the CORTEX technical architecture and components.
- Undertake preventative maintenance checks.
- Troubleshoot a CORTEX installation..

Prerequisites
Delegates must be fluent in spoken English. It is important that delegates have Windows Server administration, including Event Viewer, Services Console, Active Directory Users and IIS Web Services. Delegates will have experience with networks and networking principles, including Layer 2 & Layer 3 concepts, and experience with troubleshooting tools such as Ping, Trace Route & IP Config. Other skills will include DHCP & DNS fundamentals, Firewall & security management.
